It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani content debuted on Netflix Originals in 2020, with ‘SITARA: LET THE GIRLS DREAM’, the silent animated short about a 14-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a pilot but faces family burdens and cultural barriers.
The film was written and directed by two-time Oscar-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
